THE COMPANY:<\/h6>\n

Peque\u0301n Producciones<\/a> is an indepent production company based in Santiago de Chile. Our goal is to produce projects with a strong authorial voice and a reflection on the society we inhabit. Being filmmakers is a personal and political commitment for us. To date, Peque\u0301n Producciones has premiered 4 feature-length documentaries, 3 short films, and one fiction film in minority co-production at international festivals.<\/p>\n

THE ASSOCIATES:<\/h6>\n

Karin Cuyul<\/a>, studied Cinema at Arcis University and EICTV Cuba . She is co-founder of Peque\u0301n Producciones. In 2019, she premiered her debut feature as a director, \u201cStory of my Name\u201d at the Rotterdam Film Festival, where she obtained a Special Mention. As a producer, she produced the documentary essay “To\u0301tem”, by the Unidad de Montaje Diale\u0301ctico collective (2021-Mexico, Chile); the documentary short film \u201cNo nos soltemos ma\u0301s\u201d, by Alkisti Efthymiou (2021-Chile) and the fiction feature film \u201cThree Brothers\u201d, by Francisco Paparella (2022-Argentina, Chile). In 2023 she releases the short documentary \u201cNotes for the future\u201d at FICValdivia. Karin is currently directing her second feature film \u201cThe life that will come\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jose\u0301phine Schroeder<\/a> is a French producer, living between Santiago and Paris, an co-founder of Peque\u0301n Producciones. She is an alumni of EAVE Puentes and Berlinale Talents. Her productions are \u201cHistoria de mi Nombre\u201d by Karin Cuyul (IFFR 2019), \u201cGaucho Americano\u201d (Hot Docs 2021) and \u201cPiro\u0301polis\u201d (Tribeca 2024) by Nicola\u0301s Molina, and as minority coproducer \u201c3 Hermanos\u201d by Francisco Paparella (Mar del Plata 2023). In 2024 she is a participant in EURODOC and heads the industry section of the Festival CLAP. Currently, Jos\u00e9phine is producing Karin Cuyul\u2019s next film \u201cThe life that will come\u201d \u00a0and developing feature documentaries in France.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
